My entry to the International Society of Typographic Designers contest. Based on the prompt "Not Just Fleurons," it is an informational animation about the language of flowers and its origins. I also wanted to address how the meanings of flowers evolved over time and across cultures. All flowers mean something different depending on their color, their overall look, and their uses. Flowers are more useful than people realize. They’re beautiful and make wonderful bouquets and decorations, but they can also have other benefits. This piece looks into how flowers are used in non-traditional ways, such as medicines, teas, and environmental impact. The botanical name and origin of it are also discussed in this project.
